SCCPOCI Show-N-Shine at Hooters

To say we got lucky with the weather is an understatement! What could have easily been a "blown out" show turned out to be a gorgeous day, with over 90 Pontiacs, Buicks and Oldsmobiles in attendance. Picture albums to be added as they are available.

2011, December

John Force Holiday 14th Annual Car Show

Pontiacs were the featured marque this year, with all proceeds and toy donations going to California Highway Patrol's CHiPs for Kids.

Poncours D'Elegance

Jim Wangers, the “Godfather of the GTO” is turned 85 years young on June 26, 2011. We marked the date with a VERY SPECIAL CELEBRATION; a Pontiac party like no other in celebration of Jim Wangers’ Birthday. Held at Jim Wangers’ home in Fallbrook ,CA where—you guessed it—85 of the region’s most outstanding Pontiacs were on display!

The 23rd Annual All-Pontiac/Oakland Car Show at Fuddruckers

Once again, the weather cooperated and the show was a major success due to the hard work of those that put this show together, the members that show up at 6:00 AM to help set up, and then stay late for clean up. For all of those that put in the effort to make this show a success a big THANK YOU to you! To those that just stood around and watched, well... lets just say we all know who you are.

The 22nd Annual All-Pontiac/Oakland Car Show at Fuddruckers

This turned out to be one of the best Fudds ever. After the threat of rain last year and scorching heat the two years before, perfect weather greeted a near-record turnout of everything from restored to modified to race-inspired Pontiacs. Last but not least, a big THANK YOU to all the members that took the time to make this show such a success. There is a ton of work that is done in the months before the show, along with the pre-show set up, parking of cars, registration, ballots, 50/50, raffle, awards presentation and then final clean-up. Without all the hard work from all of you, this show would not be possible.

	2009, May 16th The 21st Annual All-Pontiac/Oakland Car Show at Fuddruckers. We got lucky with the weather and everyone had a great time. Look for the flyer for this year's event, along with the opportunity to register electronically!
	2009, February 7th 11th Annual Pontiac/Oakland Show-N-Shine Well, to say it was a bit wet the morning of the car show would be an understatement, but by about 12:30 PM the skies cleared up and the owners of 48 cars got to dry off and bask in the sunlight. Many thanks to our new venue in the Anaheim Auto Center! We hope to be back next year for sure - Hopefully without the rain this time.

	2008, October 19th OCCBCA Buick-Olds-Pontiac show This could be the birth of another annual car show. The Enderle Center is at 17th St off the 55 freeway. Vendors, 50/50 and a band round out the activities. This event was rockin'! Looking forward to next year!
	2008, July 19th Southern California Chapter POCI Annual Picnic and Officers Installation 2008 The new Officers have been crowned and we've raked the old guard over the coals left over from cooking the feast that was!

	2008, July 8th-12th 36th Annual POCI Convention - July 8 - 12, 2008 Spearfish, SD Held in Spearfish, South Dakota hosted by the Tomahawk Chapter #13 of POCI. Among activities was a cruise to Mount Rushmore! This was arguably the best National convention held in a long time. Congrats to the Tomahawk Chapter!

4th Annual San Diego Chapter POCI Spring Pow-Wow

Another wonderful show put on from our brothers to the south - San Diego POCI! They had 140 Chevys, Fords, Mopars and PONTIACS packed into the grass show area. Kudos to SDPOCI for another great Father's Day show. See you next year!

20th Annual Fuddrucker's Show

It was hot, hot, hot!, but over 100 cars were in attendance for one of the best Fuddruckers shows ever. Thank you to all who came out to help set up, break down and run the show in between!

Pontiacs at the Enderle Center

The Enderle Center did a pretty good job, considering the weather wasn't exactly cooperating. The Pontiacs were a hardy bunch of 20 strong, and all those that attended had a good time. A big thank you to all the members that braved the cold, wind and rain!

WOW! WHAT A WEEKEND!!!

Jim Wangers graciously opened his Garage to the SCCPOCI after the Pontiac dealership was not able to host us this year, and what a show it was! Over 70 registered vehicles, and the local TV news came down to check it out.

Sunday was more Ponti-yakin' at Barona Raceway. Forget the bench racing. Over 20 car participated in the 1/8th mile festivities and even more came to watch. Dave Anderson - you outdid yourself this time!

2007, May; 19th Annual Fuddruckers Show

19th annual SCCPOCI Fuddruckers show, May 12, 2007

Another winner for the members of SCCPOCI!

This show broke records of attendance, all because the SCCPOCI members banded together to make it happen!

After taking a year off so to focus on the POCI National Meet, SCCPOCI members made this the best Fuddruckers show yet. We had 30 trophy classes for any kind of Pontiac - stock, modified, race, and project. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Autism Research Institute. 2007, April; Chiefs Along the Channel car show

6th annual Channel Islands Chapter "Chiefs Along the Channel" Pontiac car show April 29, 2007!

The Channel Islands Chapter POCI shook off the cobwebs and put on one great show!

If you've never been to Ventura Harbor for this show you have sure missed out on one of the best shows on the West Coast. Plenty of Pontiacs of all varieties to view from stock restored GTOs to full race, compact Fieros all the way up to the full size Catalinas and Bonnevilles.

2007, February; Show-N-Shine

The 9th annual SCCPOCI Show-n-Shine held February 3rd, 2007 was a HUGE success!

Phillips Pontiac in Laguna Hills opened their parking lot, provided lunch from In-n-Out Burger, and we were all treated to one of the most successful shows ever! Perfect weather beamed down on 82 gorgeous Pontiacs of all types and vintage. See the Event Archive for pictures. Click here for a list of who brought home trophies.
